Mission 

Sela Public Charter School (Sela PCS) offers children of all ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds in the District of Columbia, from Pre-K to 5th grade, the opportunity to achieve academic excellence in a safe, nurturing environment that focuses on Hebrew language immersion, promotes the value of diversity and provides the skills for taking action in the world.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety of all students at all times
  • Create a positive classroom culture with your Extended Learning students
  • Organize and deliver project time daily, following the curriculum set by the school
  • Participate in recess, snack and other activities daily
  • Listen enthusiastically to coaching from the Director of Extended Learning

Experience

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience supervising children

 

Compensation 

$25.00 per hour -- 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday. There will be other opportunities to substitute teach during the normal school day on occasion.
